Why IBM Bought RHAT?
As usual, people think they know, yet everyone stutters. As per ZDnet
IBM paid $34 billion for Red Hat and a chance to be a cloud player -- private, public and hybrid -- with an ultimate goal of managing multiple clouds in the enterprise. Will IBM be able to keep RHAT culture? This is a million dollars question. And does not Kubernetes delivers well what RHAT and IBM want to deliver?
And 34 billion price is or is not a reflection of future expectations of earnings? Some say yes, some say no but no one is sure?
There is always a crowd of many people getting excited of news beyond their understanding
We know that it was better if we hear the answer from our-self. I have heard nothing so far in my inner voice .
Except that IBM will transform in new software company. Often, anxiety takes root because a person’s external character is incompatible with the change they see
There is an idea of what IBM is and what IBM will be that stresses me out and I don't know what these 34 billions will be used for, and by whom?
